With the increasing number of smart devices available today, it's easy to get confused about where your media is playing. Is that song coming from your Galaxy phone, Bluetooth headphones, or your Smart TV? Don't worry, we have the solution for you. Introducing the Media output and Device control panels from Samsung. These panels provide a convenient and centralized location for controlling all your smart devices, making it easier than ever to switch between music or control your devices.
Media Panel: Control Your Media with Ease
The Media panel may seem complex at first, but using it is actually quite simple. To access the Media panel, swipe down from the top of your Galaxy phone screen using two fingers to open the Quick setting panel. Then, tap on "Media output" and read the information provided. Grant the necessary permissions, and you're all set!
Once you're in the Media panel, you can view the current media playing on your phone, such as songs from Spotify or Google Play Music. The panel provides various controls for playing, pausing, and skipping songs, as well as adjusting the volume with a convenient slider.
Change Audio Output: If you want to change the audio output, simply tap on the desired device in the list of connected Bluetooth audio devices. For example, if the song is playing on your phone, you can tap on "Galaxy Buds" to switch the audio to your earbuds, or vice versa.
Manage Dual Audio: If you have multiple Bluetooth audio devices connected, you can enable Dual audio by checking off the devices in the circle next to each one. This allows you to play the same media on multiple devices simultaneously and easily adjust the volume for each device.
Music Share: Sharing music with friends has never been easier. With the Music Share feature on Galaxy phones, your friends can pair their phones directly to your audio devices, eliminating the need for pairing and unpairing. Enjoy a seamless and collaborative music experience!
Device Panel: Control All Your Connected Gadgets
In addition to the Media panel, Samsung also offers the Device control panel, which provides quick access to all your connected smart devices. To open the Device control panel, swipe down from the top of your Galaxy phone screen with two fingers to open the Quick settings panel. Then, tap on "Device control."
Once you're in the Device control panel, you'll see a list of your connected Bluetooth and SmartThings devices. Tap on any device to access its settings or run a Scene. You can also customize the Device control panel by tapping on the three vertical dots in the top right corner, selecting "Manage apps," and choosing the devices, services, or scenes you want to appear in the panel. This allows you to prioritize the devices you use most often for quick and easy access.
