With just over four minutes left in the third quarter, Dobbins took a handoff and attempted to push through the middle of the field. Raiders defensive end Tyree Wilson tackled him, but in a move that has sparked controversy, Wilson lifted his feet off the ground, causing Dobbins' leg to bend backward unnaturally. This 'hip-drop' tackle, as Dobbins describes it, resulted in his foot getting stuck in the ground, leading to the injury.
